Next Wave: KERRIN in Esquire Australia

There are moments in a brand’s life that don’t just flatter; they clarify. Esquire Australia has profiled KERRIN in its September 2025 issue, spotlighting our philosophy and the system behind the clothes. The piece frames KERRIN as “clothes that are reinventing heritage” — a line that neatly captures our aim: to innovate Australian staples, infusing our love of premium fabrics, meticulous construction, and a considered, precise layering system that suits Australia’s climate. Think a modular approach — base, mid and outer — that handles our four-seasons-in-one-day reality (particularly in our hometown of Melbourne).

What also resonated was the recognition of the work that sits behind the final product — the effort and thought that carries each design from concept right through to our customer’s hands. Esquire points to the Journey section of our website — entries like The Anatomy of a Zip and A Natural History of the Corozo Button — as the place “where the brand comes most alive,” recognising the thought and rigour behind our trims, materials and make. That means a great deal to us. It’s our reality. It’s our labour of love, and our kind of obsession — the sort of detail-mindedness that we hope earns your trust, knowing your clothes are built with heart.

Media coverage only really counts if it reflects what we’re truly building. Esquire’s piece does exactly that: it sees the engineering in the simplicity; the materials, trims and construction doing the quiet heavy lifting; and the Australian sensibility that prefers clarity over noise. That understanding gives us confidence to keep evolving the system of dressing that we’ve put so much stock in.

Sincere thanks to journalist Tyler Dane Wingco for capturing who we are — and what we stand for — with such care and clarity.
